How do I know if my old tank needs replacing?

If your old tank is metal and has excessive rust or is leaking beyond reasonable repair, or if your old plastic tank is cracked, split, or leaking beyond repair, you should consider buying a replacement.

Which gas tank would be best for my vehicle?

Most of our tanks are application specific, meaning that they fit an exact year(s), make and model.  If you do not see your exact year, make, or model, we may suggest a suitable universal tank for your needs.

What are "Universal Tanks"?

Universal tanks are provided when we have no specific application available for your vehicle.  This does not mean we carry a gas tank for every motorcycle or ATV ever made.  Although we do have the most gas tanks available for after market purchase, we do not make a tank for every application.  If you have any doubt about the gas tank that you are considering for purchase, do not hesitate to call, or e-mail us your question before ordering.  We encourage everyone to ask questions so that we may provide you with the correct tank, the first time.

Please refer to our "Terms and Conditions" page.  If your question is not satisfied, contact us immediately so we may discuss your situation.

Is there an extra charge for special colors.?

No. However, we do reserve the right to refuse the return of any gas tank that the customer has ordered in a color deemed by us as "non-brand specific."  Once again, if you have any doubts please contact us before ordering.
