***Tooling Damage**** – The tooling for this model has some damage in the front towards the top of the tunnel, which causes some cosmetic blemishes on the surface of the tanks.

I ordered I black gas tank for my 2002 rm250. For starters oem gas caps will not work wasn’t to disappointed about that. I put my petcock on the clark tank with a new o ring seal and it starting leaking gas really bad. (almost like I put gas in the tank with no petcock on it) The bolt holes for the petcock striped out with not much force. The tank came in the mail fairly scratched up.

Hello Liam,
Sorry to hear about this. We mold the tank around those inserts during the manufacturing process and it takes great force to strip those out. Once that occurs there is no fix but it sounds like there may have been a manufacture issue regards to the petcock area so we will be reaching out to you to discuss that issue.
